I was playing Rayman origins, really getting into the retro platforming, and couldn't help but think of this game: I understood it to be an answer, of sorts, to Donkey Kong country. Kinetic, flashy action with a bunch of visual effects thrown in, underneath a very solid platforming experience. I'm speaking, of course, of everyone's favorite interstellar garbage man.
Honest and true, if I had the opportunity to remake this game (for reals), this is how I'd want it to look. An origins-engine remake, using entirely 2d assets (no polygons please) laden with effects, but with that same platforming language of the original.
This is EXACTLY how I would like a Vectorman 3 to to look! I'd also like a Vectorman to talk and have the same voice effects that he had in Vectorman 2.
